PROFILE
Caroline Webb is a British Citizen who came to California in 2000 to do a Masters Degree in Philosophy and Religion, after some twenty-five years’ experience in still and motion pictures as a Documentary Producer and Director. Working in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, South America and the USA, she produced and directed films for the BBC and Channel Four TV in Britain, and with various institutions of the United Nations.

Caroline’s education in California has focused on the philosophical and spiritual aspects of contemporary scientific knowledge concerning the evolution of the Earth and the universe. As part of her MA and PhD studies she has done a special study on the phenomenon of photosynthesis and its impact on the Earth’s evolution. She has developed a curriculum and a number of visual media productions which have been presented in college and high school classrooms, and in informal study groups around the country.

1976 –1982   Blackfriars Photography Project, Blackfriars Settlement London.  Community Arts project harnessing the power of photography for community development and creative personal expression by users.  Project involved teaching programs, a community darkroom, exhibitions and tape-slide shows. Our work contributed to a major campaign to create a living inner city area on the South Bank of the River Thames, at Coin Street. The Coin Street Projects have since become a showcase for the re-vitalization of inner cities worldwide.
